When something looks wrong
Describe the expected result and what Acta Post showed. For a timecode question, include the edit rate, delivery rate if set, drop-frame setting, start timecode and the entered values. The app version is under Settings → About Acta Post. Your device model and iOS or iPadOS version can also help us reproduce a problem.
Include a screenshot or short recording with confidential details removed. Acta Post doesn’t send us your library or a diagnostic log automatically.
Backing up or moving your library
Open Settings > Backups & Transfer > Share Library Backup to save a complete .acta backup outside the app. It includes active, archived and Recently Deleted shows plus transferable settings. It doesn’t include App Lock settings or your dated recovery-copy history. On another device, choose Import .acta File and review the Add Shows and Replace Current Library choices carefully.
Acta Post also keeps local recovery copies. Automatic copies are optional; the app saves a separate copy before replacing your library. Find them under Settings > Backups & Transfer > View Recovery Copies. They can help after an accidental library replacement, but they’re stored on the same device. They aren’t a substitute for a shared backup kept elsewhere.
If a show or library seems missing
Check Archived Shows and Recently Deleted first. Then check Recovery Copies and any .acta files saved outside the app. If the app won’t open or the library won’t load, contact us before deleting or reinstalling the app. Reinstalling can remove its local data and recovery copies. We can help review available backups, but we can’t access or rebuild a library that exists only on your device.
